Sprint 10 Summary: new interfaces!

Another Sprint is over and that means it’s time for another Kwee Update! As we saw last time, we continue to complete the interfaces of the site while completing the backend and with our Graphics Engine taking shape.

Front-End

The biggest change this time has been the home UI, where we now have filters! Nothing is functional yet but little by little it’s looking like a proper website!

Similarly, the users now have an offer manager where they can see their published offers in the case of businesses and the offers they’ve participated in the case of candidates. The functionality stills needs some polishing but we’re moving in the right direction!

Regarding more administrative subjects, the admins now have the option to review newly registered businesses and they are able to verify or reject them.

Additionally, we’ve been able to fix some layout issues as well as integrated the PayPal sandbox!

Back-End

For the back-end we’ve focused in integrating ElasticSearch with the project. This has consumed a lot of time and thus, this time we’ve limited to polish the models and the informacion that it brings back.

Others

For the Advanced Graphics Techniques class, we’ve continued to develop the Graphic Engine and we now finally print using our data structure! We’ve also included our resource manager even though we are having some issues to export the model we want to use.

In Business and Multimedia subject, we continue to generate data and for Multimedia Project we keep tracking of our taks using Toggl and MS Project.

Finally,  a friendly reminder to follow the development of this project along with us through our social media pages on Twitter, Telegram and Instagram, as well as this blog. We will be updating them on a weekly basis so that you can be up-to-date on our latest progress!
